Hellsing Ultimate: The Dawn

Bevor „Hellsing Ultimate“ im Januar mit der 10. Episode sein großes Finale erlebt, dürfen Fans der Reihe nun mit „Hellsing Ultimate: The Dawn“ ein ganz besonderes Kapitel der Vampir-Splatter-Saga erleben. Denn „The Dawn“ schließt genau dort an, wo die 9. Episode endet. In einem Rückblick wird gezeigt, was es mit der mysteriösen Form auf sich hat, die Alucard in den letzten Minuten der 9. Episode annahm und was generell vor den Vorfällen der Serie stattgefunden hat. Gewohnt brutal, doch vor allem sehr aufschlussreich ist „Hellsing Ultimate: The Dawn“ ein tolle Ergänzung zur Hauptreihe, vor allem da noch ein schicker von den Fans seit Monaten gewünschter Sammelschuber beiliegt, welcher alle Mediabooks von „Hellsing Ultimate“ schick in Szene setzt.
One Week Friends Vol. 2

Der bittersüße Anime „One Week Friends“ geht in die zweite und finale Runde. In einer Mischung aus unbeschwerten, dem alltäglichen Schulleben eines jugendlichen nachempfundenen Szenen und den schmerzvollen Versuchen seine große Liebe Kaori aus den Fängen der Amnesie zu befreien verfolgen wir weiterhin die Geschehnisse aus dem Blickwinkel von Yuki. Dabei wird gelacht, aber auch das ein oder andere Tränchen dürfte vor allem in den letzten Episoden vergossen werden. Als Teenie-Romanze macht „One Week Friends“ dabei alles richtig, verzichtet auf unnötige Klischees und zeigt, dass Highschool-Liebe nicht immer so oberflächlich wie in „American Pie“ sein muss.
Sekai Seifuku Vol 2

Das zweite Mediabook zu „Sekai Seifuku“ schließt die wirre und höchst amüsante Geschichte rund um Kate Hoshimiya und ihre Organisation „Zvezda“ ab. Auf der Bluray befinden sich die Episoden 7-13 des Anime und erneut steht vor allem der Humor im Vordergrund. Wie schon während den ersten 7 Episoden der letzten Veröffentlichung beschränken sich die Weltherrschaftspläne von Zvezda nicht nur auf klassische Unterwerfung und andere Missetaten, sondern sind ab und zu auch von ganz simpler Natur wie z.B. der Beschaffung eines Mittagessen. Dabei gibt es auch in den abschließenden Episoden stets etwas zu lachen, es gibt keine Längen und die Charaktere wachsen dem Zuschauer nur noch mehr ans Herz. So geht es dieses Mal unter anderem ins Thermalbad, ein ganz klassisches Comedy-Anime-Setting und natürlich entfaltet sich dieser Ausflug als das pure Chaos. Vor allem in den Actionsequenzen zeigt „Sekai Seifuku“ dann nochmals, dass es animationstechnisch zu den besten Veröffentlichungen der letzten Jahre gehört und sich selbst vor großen Kinoproduktionen nicht verstecken muss.
